Microstrip circulators are components for manual assembly. General features: frequency band 3–40 GHz, operating band 5–20%, dielectric constant of PCB material 3–10, operating temperature range -60° … +85° C. Surface mount devices are available in single (Y) and double (X) versions, with or without mounting base. Additional components (load, filter, inductance, capacitor, additional leads) can be integrated.
Commercially available microstrip circulators have a set of advantages:
individual marking allows for lot traceability and excludes counterfeit.
