SMD Components

SMD circulators (surface mount) are russian components in flip-chip case for surface mounting. General features: frequency band 3–40 GHz, dielectric constant of PCB material 3–10, operating temperature range -60° … +85° C. Surface mount devices are available in single (Y) and double (X) versions. Additional components (load, filter, inductance, capacitor, additional leads) can be integrated.

The serial circulators with flip chip contacts have a set of advantages in comparison to the closest analogues:

the circulator is fully adapted for SMD mounting: no manual operations (screwdriver assembly, gluing, unmolding, selective soldering), as well as the need for tuning/adjustment,
the flip-chip case significantly reduces both the circulator’s dimensions and the area occupied by it on the PCB,
there are no “gas-yielding” materials in the device design, which allows using it in sealed microwave modules,
individual marking allows for lot traceability and excludes counterfeit.
